The Difference Between a Stage1 and Stage 2 Faja

Updated: May 21, 2024

Many people have heard of and may even own a genuine Colombian Faja, but do you know the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 Fajas? The difference is the compression level NEEDED during recovery.

HOW LONG SHOULD YOU WEAR A STAGE 1 FAJA?

Stage 1 Fajas are made of a thinner, smoother material, has less compression, and needs to be worn immediately. Your doctor may recommend for up to 6 weeks.

WHEN SHOULD YOU SWITCH TO A STAGE 2 FAJA AFTER A BBL?

Stage 2 Fajas have a thicker, more dense fabric and may be a shorter length on the legs.

After 6 weeks (and a significant decrease in swelling), transition into your Stage 2 Faja to continue shaping and contouring your body--Later, it can even be worn as general shapewear.
